Each year, I always look forward to being welcomed to a haven where I get to see my family escape their busy lives to a time of enjoyment, entertainment, food, food and more food and not forgetting putting and packing away the tents.(I promise, I don't stand there like the statue of liberty watching the tents go up, I do help)

It's amazing to see it getting bigger and better with a spring of surprises along the way from celebrating birthdays, watching a proposal happen before your eyes, and even adults becoming kids again. (Foam maker jumping castle and fancy dress up costumes)

No matter, our background, we come and create a culture of our own, a culture where love is brought to the table and diversity is accepted. I mean we all have our own individual characters in our family, but our goals are all the same: to be happy for each other as well as ourselves.

Thats why when it comes to Rural Pungwe,I usually see everyones faces light up, feeling proud that our family are representing each other in a positive way. You know, like raising the flag of your country up high.

Family is always the best people to be around. Sometimes in this day and age with everyone scattered around, it can be hard to keep up with the appearances. Maybe, we've become so distant that when we want help we are afraid they are too busy to help.

I've learnt that, in situations, its always best to consult someone who you feel close to, never do something on your own which you fell uneasy about. In every family, though we may all be different and have the occasional or frequent mishaps, there is someone there who has a heart, enjoys listening to your voice and enjoys having you in their company.
